What we collect from our own accounts

Your email address (or the Google/Apple identifier used to sign in), your chosen language, the sites you add, scan results and a session (the sid cookie, needed to sign in) plus the lang cookie that remembers your language.

What the snippet collects on customers' sites

When a customer installs our snippet, it records for the site's visitors: the visited page, the source (referrer, ref/utm parameters), clicks, scrolling, form submissions (without field values), the Google Ads click identifier (GCLID) when the visitor arrives from an ad, JavaScript errors, Core Web Vitals, the browser type, the country and the IP network prefix (/24 for IPv4, /48 for IPv6; the full IP address is not stored).

The snippet also collects technical device signals used to tell people from bots: the presence of an automated browser, graphics capabilities, mouse movements or touches.

When the site or app hits a JavaScript error, we send the error message, a stack trace and the last few steps in the page or app (not form values), so we can group and fix the bug.

It sets the _osg cookie (a random identifier, 13 months) and the _osgr cookie (first source, 30 days) on the customer's site.

For this data, the customer who installs the snippet is the controller and we process it on their behalf. The customer is responsible for informing visitors and for the legal basis of collection on their site.

Purpose and retention

Providing the service: SEO scanning, traffic statistics, bot detection. Events are deleted after 90 days and sessions expire after 30 days.

Who we work with

Cloudflare (network, protection, scanning), Brevo (sending sign-in codes by email), Google and Apple (sign-in, only if you choose those methods).
